Mont Blanc

Spring is the best season for skiing Mont Blanc. We climbed the top of Europe with John Keagy and Britt Jonhson. We climbed the north ridge of dome du Gouter which is more difficult and longer but much more safe. The previous "normal route" used the petit plateau and is now very exposed to seracs. The dome's route is more alpine with, this year, an icy ridge? We have to climb approximately 200 meters on 45° ice, it's better to have good crampons.
It's always a big pleasure to put on his skis on summit of Mont Blanc. We skied from the summit to the mur de la cote and corridor, the crossed Grand Plateau and join the refuge des Grands Mulets and ski back to Plan de l'aiguille.
